In the field of aircraft manufacturing in the world, the design concept of more-electric and all-electric aircraft has been put forward. Because of the potential improvement in energy saving, passenger comfort, reliability and maintainability, it has attracted more and more attention from aircraft-related industries and academia. Over the past decade, the EU has implemented POA, VIVAC, MOET, CLEANSKY, CRECENDO and other more-electric aircraft related research projects, while the United States has implemented the more-electric aircraft project, energy optimization aircraft project and INVENT. The core members of SIMTEK have participated in many research projects of European more-electric aircraft design. They have set up about 8 years close cooperation with the pre-research project department of European civil aircraft enterprise. They have put forward various pre-research analysis for aircraft models, such as power grid reliability analysis, electrical system fault detection, virtual verification of electrical system integration and so on. Based on the abundant experience accumulated abroad, SIMTEK has cooperated with AVIC and AECC in the fields of aircraft electrical, energy and others.
Based on Modelon Environmental Control Library, the design and debugging of aircraft environmental control system (ECS) are realized. The ECS model includes air-inlet system, boost refrigeration cycle system, air-circulating device, inlet flow and temperature control system, etc.
ECS can regulate the inlet flow to ensure the temperature, ventilation rate and pressure required in the cockpit area. It ensures the best humidity environment and adequate oxygen concentration. It does provide a safe and comfortable environment for the crew on board. According to the set temperature, the cabin temperature can be adjusted through the temperature control system to meet the comfort needs of passengers.
